Accessibility Statement
Our ongoing commitment to making regeneration.ie usable for everyone.
Last updated: 8 July 20261. Our commitment
Regeneration is committed to making our website accessible to as many people as possible, including people with visual, hearing, motor or cognitive disabilities. We’re working towards conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA, the standard referenced by the European Accessibility Act.
2. What we’ve done so far
- Reviewed our colour palette and text contrast against WCAG AA thresholds sitewide
- Used semantic HTML headings and landmarks throughout the site
- Provided descriptive alt text for meaningful images
- Ensured our navigation, forms and buttons can be operated by keyboard
- Designed our layouts to remain usable when zoomed or viewed on mobile devices
3. Known limitations
We’re an evolving site and don’t claim perfection. Some embedded third-party elements — such as our course registration forms and Google Maps — are provided by external services and may not fully match our own accessibility standards. We’re monitoring these and will address issues as they’re identified or as our providers improve their own accessibility.
4. Feedback
If you experience any difficulty accessing content on this site, please let us know. Tell us the page you were on and the issue you encountered, and we’ll do our best to fix it or provide the information in an alternative format.
