The Challenge: Great Instincts, No Proof

You are likely already the highly reliable person on your team who naturally steps in to fix messy schedules, chase down updates, and keep everyday tasks moving forward. You are doing the real work of coordination every day—yet it stays completely invisible on paper. When you apply for official project roles, your CV gets filtered out because it lacks documented project hours tied to a recognised organisation. You know you can do the job; you just lack the official mileage to prove it.

How the Lab Works

From Enrolment to Evidence

Four steps, one route — here is exactly how you go from no documented hours to proof you can point to.

01

Enrol on the course

The Lab is the practical phase of the CSPP™ Certification Course. Your cohort place comes with enrolment — there is no separate application.

02

Build your toolkit

The classroom phase comes first: the sustainable project management methods you will carry straight into your live project.

03

Deliver a live project

Join a small cohort, take on a real challenge from the Siel Bleu Ireland pipeline and build a complete, workable project plan.

04

Claim your proof

Present your work at the CPD-Accredited Showcase Event and walk away with documented hours and verified experience.

The Details

Your Questions, Answered

The practical bits people want to know before they enrol.

How do I join the Pro Bono Lab?+

The Lab is the practical phase of the CSPP™ Certification Course. Enrol on the course and a Lab cohort place comes with it — classroom first, live project second. There is no separate application.

Do I need project experience to take part?+

No. The Lab was built for people who carry the coordination work every day with nothing on paper to show for it. The training phase gives you the tools; the Lab is where you apply them, with a cohort around you and a real deadline ahead of you.

Do I choose which project I work on?+

Projects are matched when your cohort is scheduled, drawn from the live Siel Bleu Ireland pipeline above — over 25 initiatives are secured. Each one is real, current and sponsored by the organisation’s own team.

What proof do I walk away with?+

Documented project hours delivered for a recognised non-profit organisation, a complete project plan with your name on it, and a CPD-accredited showcase presentation in front of industry peers and leaders — evidence for your CV, your LinkedIn profile and your next interview.

How many hours will I earn in the Lab?+

That depends on what you need. Hours vary by project, and each professional joins with a different target — some aim for a full 30 hours of documented delivery, others need 10 to complete the hours required to sit their PMI exam. The scope of your role within the cohort flexes with the goal you bring.

What happens at the Showcase Event?+

It is the final milestone of the Lab. Your team stands on stage at our CPD-Accredited Showcase Event and walks the audience through the timelines you built, the constraints you handled and the outcome you delivered for Siel Bleu Ireland. Your work gets seen, and your hours get verified.

The Final Step

Claim Your Stage

You aren’t just handing over a document and walking away at the end of the programme. The final milestone of the Pro Bono Lab is standing by your work at our CPD-Accredited Showcase Event, your team will stand on stage and present your completed project plan directly to an audience of industry peers and leaders. You will explain the timelines you built, how you handled the constraints, and exactly how you solved a real-world problem for a non-profit organisation. You prove you can deliver, because you actually did.
