Rhealyn Mugri shortlisted for ESG Woman of the Year at the Women in STEM Awards 2026

Some news worth sharing: Rhealyn Mugri, Founder and Training Director of Regeneration, School of Sustainable Projects, has been shortlisted for ESG Woman of the Year at the Business Post Women in STEM Summit & Awards 2026.

The Women in STEM Summit & Awards celebrates women shaping science, technology, engineering and maths across Ireland. The ESG Woman of the Year category recognises those turning environmental, social and governance ambitions into delivered results, rather than statements on a slide.

Why ESG belongs in project management

Most organisations now hold ESG commitments. Far fewer have people equipped to carry them through delivery, where budgets, timelines and trade-offs decide what survives. That gap sits squarely with project professionals: they are the ones who translate a sustainability pledge into procurement choices, stakeholder decisions and measurable outcomes.

Closing that gap is the reason Regeneration exists. The school trains project managers in sustainable project management using the GPM framework, where tools like the P5 Standard connect every project decision to its impact on people, planet and prosperity.

The work behind the shortlist

Founded in Dublin, Regeneration runs GPM-accredited CSPP™ certification training, delivered live online. What sets the model apart is delivery through real work: learners earn documented project hours on live non-profit initiatives through the Pro Bono Lab, in partnership with Siel Bleu Ireland, then present their results to hiring managers and peers at the Project Showcase, run under Regeneration’s CPD-approved provider status.

Every placement serves twice. The learner gains verifiable, real-world experience; the non-profit gets a stalled project delivered at no cost to them. That structure, sustainability practised rather than preached, is the work this shortlist recognises.

The nomination adds to Rhealyn’s record in the field, including her selection as a national finalist for Project Professional of the Year 2025 with the PMI Ireland Chapter, alongside her lecturing work in project management, ethics and sustainability across Dublin institutions.

“Building Regeneration is about empowering professionals to step into sustainable project leadership with confidence and purpose,” said Rhealyn. “To be recognised alongside such inspiring women across Ireland is deeply humbling.”

What happens next

Winners will be announced on 22 October 2026 at the Round Room at the Mansion House, Dublin. Congratulations to every finalist on the shortlist; the strength of the field says something encouraging about where Irish STEM is heading.

Want to see the work up close? Regeneration’s autumn cohorts run from October to November, live online. See the dates.
