About the day
What the day is for
11:00 and 14:35
Climate Hackathon
15:00 to 16:30
Project Showcase and Recognition
13:00 and 16:30
Book Launch and networking
The Climate Hackathon starts with the morning walk, held in partnership with Bray Walking Tours, from Bray seafront to the gated section of the Bray to Greystones walk. The closed path is the case for the briefing at 14:35, so everyone in the room will have seen it first-hand.
The Climate Hackathon is a planning exercise. Project professionals do not need domain knowledge of coastal paths. They bring the skills to define the challenge, consult the people affected and plan a way forward. The work can also produce a first business case for the local council to consider, a skill taught on the CSPP™ course.
Lunch at 13:00 gives guests time to meet the project professionals, project sponsors and partners.
In the afternoon, St. Francis Hospice presents a case study of sustainability built into the design of their Blanchardstown building. Siel Bleu Ireland, our Pro Bono Lab partner, then presents the project pipeline their team has agreed with Regeneration. Pro Bono Lab presentations are delivered by the project professional and the project sponsor together, followed by recognition on the day.
Every project follows PRiSM, the sustainable project management method taught on the CSPP™ course. Each project has a business case and a P5 Impact Analysis, and sustainability is checked at each phase.
The afternoon ends with the book launch of Leading Projects in Chaos, Rhealyn Mugri’s first book.

The walk
The route is flat along the seafront, with a gentle climb towards the cliff path. Wear comfortable shoes, bring a jacket and a refillable water bottle.
